Tirlisua was a quiet village in the heart of the mountains where people lived their lives peacefully. One night, the village was taken over by the waters, at the beginning of the month July and the people that live there lost all their life savings. All they had left after this tragedy took place were clothes they were wearing and their hope. Slowly, they started to take out the mud out of their houses and to repair what could be repaired or what was left of their homes. Beyond the bridge that had been broken by the waters, freed now by the cruel embrace of the trees that had fallen, the tears run dry. The villagers have seen their neighbors taken by the waters along with their houses. But the outburst of the river couldn’t take from them the biggest asset a man can have: the power to work. The ones that survived the disaster remember now the moments of nightmare they have lived.
The clouds are gathering again above the Tirlisua village of the Bistrita Nasaud district. An old woman remembers, with tears in her eyes, how the waters stumbled across them, killed her husband and destroyed the house where they lived. The only things she has now are the clothes she is wearing and the five goats she was raising An old lady walking on a road of the Tirlisua village that was affected by flooding destroying many houses, leaving only suffering behind A woman hanging the laundry to dry in the back yard of her house. Old Sabo is cutting with a hacksaw several wooden boards trying to build a new door to his house, also affected by the flooding. Old Maria going at a fountain near her house to take a bucket of water with her two grandsons, Daniel and Marius. A man helped by his wife is fixing a board in order to use it in the reconstruction of a fence. An old woman taking out the mud out of her house to help one of the volunteers that had come to help these people with the rebuilding of their houses Mister Ioan(John) tries to recuperate some of the parts of his truck that had been taken away by the waters and turned over 50 meters away from his house A pile of wood and garbage is gathered at the borderline of the Tirlisua village from the Bistrita Nasaud district where many houses on the Tibles Valley were simply erased from the face of the earth and a man tries to get through them towards his house upwards the heal. A woman taking the laundry out of the washing machine in her yard. An old lady peeling corn in front of her house for the animals that she got left after the flooding. She is looking with sorrow in her eyes at the gate for someone to come and give her a hand to rebuild the house that was destroyed by the waters
